Political/non political

Non nationalists say that Ramdev was trying to give the movement a "political angle" one thing that i do not understand is why should it not be political at the first place. Words like politics, communal have been used so often that it seems even the people who knew the real meaning of these words have forgotten or the definition has been changed to something which is defined only by them according to their own convenience.

When the issue is black money, when the issue is corruption then why should people be debating over who is communal who is not...who is political and who is not.

The other thing that i fail to understand is ...even in Anna Hazare's movement, why was it not open to even the politicians ? are we not supposed to discuss lokpal bill in the parliament ? are we not going to take politicians into confidence to pass the bill...so why was it not done at the first place.

Why cant we understand that a matter which directly concerns the well being of the people of India is bigger than caste, creed, politics and religion.

Let everyone be a part of the movement !!

Hypocrisy !!

Disgraceful.... not only for the government but also to the people who have still been reacting in such a sadist way about the entire event that happened last night. Even if we do not support the man but atleast lets have some sensitivity towards the people who were beaten up and thrown out for nothing.

Where are the so called "human right activists" who are otherwise fighting for all the wrong issues .....

Lets stop being hypocrites ...lets stop fooling ourselves...either we all have our bank accounts in Switzerland or we all have enough money and
facilities that it doesnt really matter...or we are not humans to feel the heat

Hypocrisy !!

I was very young when i heard some one saying that Indians are the biggest hypocrites and that moment in fact for a long long time i couldn't understand the reason nor could i agree with that but lately with whatever i have been hearing and seeing makes me revisit the same lines and think that may yes. We are the biggest hypocrites.

In the current pretext, i do not understand the entire hue and cry against Baba Ramdev. The same people who were whole heartedly supporting Anna Hazare are against the Baba. I heard them saying then that more than the person, what matters the most is the issue but what happened to them now.

When people say that Swamis should stay away from politics and national issues, i could do nothing but laugh out loud at them for the sheer lack of understanding and ignorance or may there is some one else who is doing politics by letting out all these malicious points in the air.

Going by that logic, why was Swami Agniwesh when leading the campaign against corruption with Anna Hazare not criticized ?? In fact, it is a well know fact about him that he has ideologically and politically been associated with the LEFT from the beginning.

There were so many young Indians who without even knowing the background of Anna Hazare went out and supported him whole heartedly as they knew that here is someone who is fighting against corruption which is the biggest enemy of our country. Now, all of a sudden why is it that we are getting into every other thing the man does but not the reason why he is going to sit and fast unto death.

Infact when people say that Ramdev is politically inclined, what is the problem. When the people who have been appointed to do a specific task are not doing it properly then the other sections of the society will have to take the charge and clean the system than letting the system rot.

For those who have read about Chanakya would probably be able to relate to the situation arising today. Chanakya, a meager teacher who got to know that Alexander is planning to conquer India, went from pillar to post to all the kings pleading to rise to the situation and do some thing proactively before its too late. But no one heard, they were all busy looting their kingdoms, making merry. They went down to the level where they insulted the teacher telling him not to get into their domain "politics"

After being let down from every nook and corner, Chanakya himself took the responsibility in his hands and did whatever it took to save his heartland from the invasion.

People should understand that this is the time to forget personal interests and fight for the bigger cause together i.e corruption.

Another thing i heard about Indians when i was young was that we are the most optimistic people. So, lets be optimistic about the situation. Help the person who is atleast trying to mobilize the country against corruption.

Khushwant singh has got some competition these days.....

Khushwant singh has got some competition these days......he has another author to compete with .....none other than Mr. Manmohan Singh. He happens to be at his humorous best these days.....
just short of completing a book called "101 dirty jokes"

the latest of them was while commenting on the wikileaks cable about the cash for vote

" i did not AUTHORIZE any one to buy MPs ..................

Sir, who the hell in your government needs your authorization ??

Better to laugh out loud at such grose comments because if you start thinking......

............god bless us all

To think or not to think !!

Thinking not to think more, makes you think even more !!

Is debate over Kasab debatable !!

Soon after the judgement passed by the Mumbai high court over Kasab today all the news channels started "breaking" the news....as if something else was expected out of the judgement. Strange !!

Even better was when one of the news channels got the "intellectuals" on their panel to DEBATE over Kasab and soon i realized that all these "intellectuals" who have just got transformed into lawyers of Kasab....

So pakistan shouldnt worry about their martyr's well being, Kasab has a lot of his family members in India fighting for him and inturn for the pakistanis.

Sometimes i wonder ...by invoking such useless debates about the decisions already taken by courts.... are we not entering into a contempt of court for the people who are going against !!!

They should be put behind bars. May be they will feel happy and better if they share a room with Kasab !!

Nice Quote

My parents told me, "Finish your dinner. People in China and

I tell my daughters, "Finish your homework. People in India
